COVID-19: Response

We are pleased to announce that we are back offering skirmish operations at THE FORT.  Whilst we rejoice in the fact we can now play airsoft once again it is important to remember that the Corona Virus: COVID-19 saga is not yet over. It is still very prevalent in the United Kingdom and still poses a threat to every single one of us.

We have and will continue to monitor the situation closely.

Reaper Operations Limited and all attending individuals are responsible for limiting the risk of transmission of COVID-19. Until information on the subject become more clear, we will endeavour to ensure measures are set to maintain social distancing. As a result there will be changes to our regular practices and restrictions put in place. 

We strongly advise you to comply with public health restrictions and avoid high risk behaviour outside the hobby sports setting to reduce the risk to you and your fellow airsoft participants.

We advise ‘At Risk’ customers not to attend.

To ensure that terms and condition acknowledgements are met and understood by individual customers our ‘group booking’ facility has been temporarily suspended.

 

It is important now more that ever that you READ, UNDERSTAND and COMPLY with these simple changes:

Booking.

1. No person may ‘turn up’ on site Pre-Booking ONLY.

2. Players must Book on-line.

 a. Each booking must clearly stipulate who is attending - Full details must be provided. If there is any concern please contact us first.

 b. We now offer socially distanced contactless e-signatures for our Consent and Release of Liability Agreement. This form is a requirement in order to participate in a Reaper Operations Limited airsoft event and is separate from our event ticket booking facility.

Players not wishing to complete an electronic signature version MUST print and sign the booking confirmation email of which the Agreement is included and hand that in to a member of staff on arrival to the venue.

Entry to site and movement within the areas outside of the game zone.

1. All persons entering the site will be subject to a non-contact temperature check as a condition of entry.

a. Amber and red readings will result in the person/vehicle refused entrance. If you feel unwell DO NOT ATTEND especially if you are displaying any of the COVID-19 symptoms below . Contact us, we will facilitate a refund or defer you ticket to another event. 

  • A high temperature

  • A new, continuous cough

  • A loss of, or change to, their sense of smell or taste

Should you or an individual you live with or have had close contact with demonstrate any such symptoms, you must follow NHS and PHE guidance on self-isolation

2. All vehicles will be parked no less than 2 metres from any other vehicle. Staff will provide direction.  

3. Your vehicle will act as your "Safe Zone". This is outside in free air. Please consider this when packing. We also advise not to lift share with players outside of your "family / house hold / support bubble". Small open sided gazebos and tables will be permitted.

4. All persons will wear suitable and appropriate face coverings at all times including trips to the toilet etc. Where it is reasonable and proper to do so especially when proper social distancing can not be reasonably achieved. 

5.  Social distancing is the preferred method of removing the chance of infection transmission and will be applied.

  • follow the limits on the number of other people you should meet with as a group – no more than six (6) people unless you all live together (or are in the same support bubble)

  • avoid social interaction with anyone outside the group you are with, even if you see other people you know!

6. We support the NHS Test and Trace programme. Reaper Operations Limited will offer a QR code. 

Game Area.

1. Players will be instructed on the entry and exit procedures as part of the Site Safety Brief.

2. All participants must remain socially distanced during and breaks in play.

Game types.

1. Games will reflect the current risk and be tailored accordingly.

Payments and Retail.

1. Tuck shop facilities on-site and can take Cash, Paypal and card is preferred.

a. Platoon Stores will be on-site. Specific items should be ordered in advanced by visiting their website, their retail premises in person or over the telephone. 

2. All items sold will be sprayed at the players request prior to hand over.

3. There will be no cooked or prepared food or drink provided . Hot water for food will be available on request. Pack lunches are highly advised.

Hire equipment.

1. We now offer rental equipment. The equipment is supplied by Platoon Stores (Rochester) and cleaned in-line with a comprehensive risk assessment.

Emergencies.

1. All players will be briefed on what to do in case of emergency that is Covid 19 specific on the Site Safety Brief.

We will ensure the following:

1. Sanitiser available. (70%). 

2. Emollient cream.

3. Toilets to have toilet roll. Each toilet has a cleaning regime of regular sanitisation and checks.

4. Toilet sinks have soap available.

5. Paper towels for drying hands.
